BREAKING: West Virginia Mountaineers confirm the departure of top decorated player

Ole Miss secured a commitment from  West Virginia talented player. He quickly made his decision during his visit with the Rebels.

He had a standout 2024 season, totaling 28 catches for 426 yards and 4 touchdowns with the Mountaineers.

He joins a wide receiver group that features several new additions from the transfer portal, addressing a key area of need for the Rebels. The group includes four new wideouts, such as Deuce Alexander (Wake Forest), Caleb Odom (Alabama), and De’Zhaun Stripling (Oklahoma State).

It will be intriguing to see how Ray fits into Lane Kiffin’s high-powered offense, where he has a strong opportunity to make a significant impact. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound receiver has two years of eligibility remaining.

So far this offseason, Ole Miss has secured 16 transfer commitments, ranking No. 3 nationally according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
