BREAKING: Huge boost!! West Virginia Mountaineers add a speedster to the running back room.

For the second time today, the West Virginia Mountaineers have bolstered their football roster. A few moments ago, Division II running back transfer LJ Turner announced via Instagram that he has committed to WVU.

 

 

Turner, who played eight games this season at Catawba Community College in Salisbury, North Carolina, accumulated 1,224 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns on 174 carries. He has one year of eligibility left.

The 5-foot-9, 195-pound running back from Palm Bay, Florida, has totaled 1,961 yards and 20 touchdowns throughout his collegiate career. He will join a running back group that includes Jahiem White, Diore Hubbard, Trae’von Dunbar, and incoming freshman Deandre Desinor.
