HUGE BLOW: Penn state Confirm the Departure of another top-notch player ahead of Boise State game

The Penn State quarterback, has officially decided where he will continue his college football career next season. After entering the transfer portal on December 15, the redshirt sophomore spent the past week visiting various programs.

Pribula will transfer to Missouri, according to his agency, which informed Matt Zenitz of 247Sports. In addition to Missouri, Pribula also visited Iowa, UCF, and Ole Miss, and ultimately made his decision quickly, even canceling a planned visit to Indiana.

A native of York, Pa., Pribula has two years of eligibility remaining after spending his first three seasons at Penn State, where he primarily served as a backup to Drew Allar. Over the past two seasons, he played as a change-of-pace option, completing 26 of 35 passes for 275 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception this season. Pribula’s standout skill has been his rushing ability, having run for 242 yards and four touchdowns on 38 carries this year.

His transfer decision made waves in the sports world, coming just before the College Football Playoff, leaving Penn State without their backup quarterback for their game against SMU due to the timing.

Pribula will join a Missouri Tigers team that had a strong 9-3 season, earning a spot in the Music City Bowl. He will compete for the starting quarterback position with freshman Matt Zollers, another Pennsylvania native who was ranked the No. 7 quarterback in the 2025 class. Pribula is expected to have an early advantage in the competition due to his experience.
