BREAKING: Bengals elevate yet again another talented player to bolster squad depth

The Cincinnati Bengals have promoted kicker from the practice squad to the active roster. Additionally, the team has signed linebacker Joe Giles-Harris and safety Jaylen Key to the practice squad.

York, in his second year, joined the Bengals’ practice squad on December 4th. He was elevated to the active roster for the last two games, successfully making all three of his field-goal attempts and converting 7 out of 8 extra points.

Giles-Harris, a 6-foot-2, 234-pound linebacker in his second season, is a Duke alumnus who first signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2019. He has played 20 regular-season games for Jacksonville (2019-20), Buffalo (2021-22), and New England (2024), recording 20 tackles and one sack. He was released from the Patriots’ practice squad on December 2nd.

Key, a 6-foot-2, 210-pound rookie safety from Alabama, was selected by the New York Jets as the last pick of the 2024 NFL Draft (Mr. Irrelevant). He spent six games on the Jets’ practice squad earlier this season before being waived on October 30th.
