BREAKING: Indiana Hoosiers Land blockbuster commitment for another gifted player to bolster squad depth

A former defensive lineman for Western Kentucky, has joined Indiana, according to Pete Nakos of On3.

The  first-team All-Conference USA selection for 2024, tallied 74 tackles and two sacks for the Hilltoppers this past season. The 6-3, 300-pound native of Elkton, Calif., heads to Bloomington with one year of eligibility left. After visiting several schools, including Texas A&M and Wisconsin, Wheeler chose Indiana.

With his size and versatility, Wheeler is capable of playing any position on the defensive line. It will be interesting to see how defensive coordinator Bryant Haines and position coach Pat Kuntz utilize the former Hilltopper.
