Massive Boost: Another top talented player flips commitment to Indiana Hoosiers

Pete Thamel of ESPN reported that the standout running back would be entering the transfer portal, and just a week later, he has committed to play for Curt Cignetti and the Hoosiers in Bloomington, Indiana.

As a redshirt sophomore in 2024, the 5-foot-10, 220-pound running back carried the ball 166 times for 884 yards and seven touchdowns, in addition to catching 30 passes for 219 yards. He led his team with 1,103 all-purpose yards.

In 2023, he had 52 rushes for 360 yards and four touchdowns, averaging 6.9 yards per carry.

PFF statistics show that 648 of his yards came after contact, and he forced 39 missed tackles. His yards after contact ranked 42nd in the entire FBS. He did fumble three times and drop five passes on 42 targets.

Beebe was an unranked recruit from Park Crossing High School in Montgomery, Alabama, and initially joined the Blazers as a walk-on.

Indiana will be losing its top rushers, Justice Ellison, who rushed for 811 yards (5.5 yards per carry) and 10 touchdowns, and Ty Son Lawton, who totaled 634 yards (4.8 yards per carry) and 12 touchdowns, as both are set to graduate.

Kaelon Black is the only returning running back with experience, following the news that Elijah Green entered the transfer portal earlier this week.

Beebee will have two years of eligibility remaining at Indiana.
