Gifted running back switched his commitment to South Dakota State on Sunday, after initially committing to North Dakota State on June 28.
The 5-foot-10, 180-pound running back hails from Chanhassen, Minnesota. According to 247Sports, he is ranked as the No. 160 running back and No. 17 player in Minnesota.
He was named the AP Player of the Year after guiding Chanhassen to its first state championship in school history. He ended the season with 1,844 rushing yards and 24 total touchdowns. Woods earned first-team All-State honors and was named Mr. Football for Minnesota.
Throughout his career, Woods amassed 3,700 rushing yards, 40 rushing touchdowns, and seven receiving touchdowns. On defense, he recorded 41 tackles, 12 pass breakups, six forced fumbles, and two tackles for loss.
