How many consecutive winning seasons have the Steelers had?
With their win on Sunday, the Steelers tied an NFL record by achieving their 21st non-losing season, including the last 18 under Tomlin’s leadership.
Tomlin’s 18-year streak of winning seasons, which began in 2007, is now four years longer than any other head coach’s start. During this period, Tomlin has had at least 10 seasons with 10 or more wins.
Tomlin’s streak is second only to Bill Belichick’s 19 consecutive winning seasons with the New England Patriots. Belichick’s streak is surpassed only by former Dallas Cowboys head coach Tom Landry.
Landry’s Cowboys are the only other team to achieve 21 consecutive seasons with a record of .500 or better, a feat they accomplished from 1965 to 1985.
