Game Changing News: Another Highly Rated Forward Transfer To Missouri Tigers Over Three Prominent Programs

Missouri basketball has secured its third commitment of the 2026 offseason, adding redshirt freshman big man according to multiple reports. He picked Missouri over offers from Michigan, Arizona, and Miami.

Coming off an impressive redshirt freshman campaign, Tiller averaged 7.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1.3 blocks per game. He shot 44.9% from the field and 26.9% from beyond the arc, starting 31 of 35 games and logging 25.9 minutes per contest. Among returning Missouri players, only one averaged more points and playing time.

Now entering his third year, Tiller joined the transfer portal as a four-star prospect and was ranked the No. 7 power forward in the transfer class by 247Sports. He was also considered a four-star recruit in the 2025 class.

Before his time at Kansas, Tiller played in the Overtime Elite League, where current Missouri general manager Tim Fuller served as Vice President of Recruiting and Player Personnel. During his time there, Tiller posted averages of 11.5 points and 6.9 rebounds in the 2022–23 season, followed by 12.2 points and 9.4 rebounds in 2023–24. He now reunites with Fuller at Missouri.

Standing 6-foot-11 and weighing 240 pounds, Tiller adds valuable size to a Missouri team that is losing starting power forward Mark Mitchell and center Shawn Phillips Jr., both of whom exhausted their eligibility after the 2025–26 season. Tiller will compete for a starting role alongside incoming freshman Toni Bryant and returning 7-foot-5 center Trent Burns in the frontcourt.

Tiller has experience in a supporting role by playing alongside projected top-3 NBA Draft pick Darryn Peterson last season. He’ll now be playing alongside top-10 incoming freshman Jason Crowe Jr., who’s set to lead Missouri’s offense next season.

Tiller is one of few players in history to play for both Missouri and Kansas and could become one of even fewer to compete on both sides of the Border War. Parker Braun recently suited up for Missouri in 2020-21 and 2021-22 before joining Kansas in 2023-24. While he played against Missouri as a Jayhawk, he never played Kansas during his time with the Tigers.

Tiller, on the other hand, scored 13 points, grabbed five rebounds and blocked five shots against Missouri in December, and is now slated to take on his former team in the 2026-27 season.
