His practice window opens on Wednesday, allowing him to increase his activity ahead of the matchup.

Tagovailoa has been out since suffering a concussion during Miami’s Week 2 loss to the Buffalo Bills, an injury that occurred when he collided awkwardly with Bills safety Damar Hamlin while attempting to scramble for a first down.

This was the third concussion of Tagovailoa’s NFL career, raising significant concerns about his health.

Nevertheless, Tagovailoa is determined to return and help his team regain the momentum they had at the start of the season.

Dolphins’ Offensive Struggles Without Tagovailoa
The Dolphins have struggled offensively in Tagovailoa’s absence.

Since his exit in Week 2, Miami has not scored more than 15 points in any game, a stark difference from their season-opening 20-17 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Heading into Week 7, the Dolphins rank near the bottom of the league in passing yards per game (185.6) and points per game (12.0), underscoring the significant impact of Tagovailoa’s absence.

As the Dolphins prepare for their Week 7 game against the Indianapolis Colts, all eyes are on Week 8, when Tagovailoa is expected to return.

His comeback could be pivotal in revitalizing Miami’s offense and turning their season around.
