Missouri basketball has secured a commitment from talented guard, according to Jon Rothstein. Ranked No. 170 among transfers by 247Sports, Davis is also listed as the No. 26 small forward in the portal.
A four-star transfer per 247Sports, Davis was previously a three-star prospect in the 2023 high school class out of Vashon in the St. Louis area. His move to Missouri marks a homecoming, as he’ll join fellow Missouri natives Luke Northweather, Aaron Rowe, and Nicholas Randall. Notably, Davis and Randall were teammates at Vashon during the 2022–23 season.
Coming out of high school, Davis was ranked No. 262 nationally in the composite rankings.
Last season at BYU, Davis averaged 8.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.1 steals per game, starting all 32 contests alongside standout freshman AJ Dybantsa. Before that, he spent two seasons at Southern Illinois, highlighted by a strong 2023–24 campaign in which he posted 16.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game while shooting 37.6% from three-point range.

Now heading to Missouri, Davis will get another opportunity to play a major role at a Power Five program and is expected to be one of the most experienced players in the backcourt. He’ll join a group that includes Trent Pierce, transfer Jamier Jones, Annor Boateng, and freshman Aiden Chronister on the wing.
Davis addresses a key need for Missouri by adding depth on the wing. Prior to the addition of Carey, the offensive structure around Jason Crowe Jr. and Jones was still uncertain. With Davis in the mix, the Tigers gain another versatile scorer who can create off the dribble. Depending on head coach Dennis Gates’ plans, Davis could compete for a starting role next season.
The St. Louis native becomes part of a transfer class that also includes Jones, former Kansas big man Bryson Tiller, and former Tennessee big man Jaylen Carey. As Missouri’s fourth transfer addition this cycle, his commitment is a significant late addition. Following his arrival, Missouri now holds the No. 12-ranked transfer portal class nationally, according to 247Sports.
