Vancouver Canucks announced today that the team has acquired a fourth-round pick in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft from the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for forward Vasily Podkolzin.
This fourth-round pick originally belonged to the Ottawa Senators before being traded to the Oilers, along with Roby Jarventie, in a deal for Xavier Bourgault and Jake Chiasson.
“We want to thank Vasily for his contributions during his time with the Canucks,” Allvin stated. “Podz worked hard both on and off the ice, and we wish him all the best with the Oilers.”
As a result of this trade, the Canucks now hold a total of seven draft picks for the 2025 Draft, spanning the following rounds: 1st, 2nd, 4th, 4th (from EDM), 5th, 6th, and 7th.
