The St. Louis Blues haven’t provided an official timeline, but it seems they’re receiving positive updates about Philip Broberg’s injury.
The St. Louis Blues may have received some positive news on Monday about defenseman Philip Broberg. After he fell awkwardly and needed assistance to leave the ice during a win last week, initial reports raised concerns about a serious injury that could sideline him for a long time, possibly the entire season. However, it now appears that Broberg could return at some point this year.
On Monday morning, Andy Strickland reported, “Philip Broberg has exceeded expectations for the Blues this season. He suffered an injury during Saturday’s win over Toronto, but an update is expected later today, and it doesn’t seem to be season-ending.”
Jeremy Rutherford from The Athletic also provided an update, mentioning, “The Blues are practicing today, and we should receive an official update on Broberg. It sounds like the injury isn’t as severe as initially thought. He might be out for a month or possibly longer, but a more serious outcome appears to have been avoided.”
