Earlier this month, the Providence Bruins invited veteran forward to their training camp, and he will now be staying longer after signing a professional tryout (PTO) agreement with the team.
Pitlick brings a wealth of experience, having played 10 seasons in the NHL. Over 420 games with teams like the Edmonton Oilers, Dallas Stars, Philadelphia Flyers, Arizona Coyotes, Calgary Flames, Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis Blues, and New York Rangers, the 32-year-old has recorded 56 goals, 109 points, and 836 hits.
Last season, he played for the Rangers, tallying one goal, three assists, 84 hits, and a minus-6 rating. He also contributed three goals and four assists in 22 games with their AHL affiliate, the Hartford Wolf Pack.
Now, Pitlick aims to make a strong impression with Providence during this PTO, which could lead to a contract with the Bruins for the upcoming season.
