BREAKING: Another highly rated five-star super talent transfer to Arizona Wildcats

Arizona basketball coach Tommy Lloyd announced on Instagram that he secured a commitment from five-star wing  for the 2025 class.

Standing at 6-foot-8 hails from the Netherlands and has spent his junior and senior years at Brewster Academy in New Hampshire. Before that, he played for three years with the Spanish professional club Joventut Badalona.

According to 247 Sports’ composite rankings, he is a top-20 overall prospect and among the top five small forwards in his senior class.

According to the same rankings, he is Arizona’s highest-rated commitment during the Lloyd era and the best since Nico Mannion (No. 9) and Josh Green (No. 13) joined the 2019 class.

He opted for Arizona over offers from Duke, USC, Michigan State, and the Australian National Basketball League.

“The winning culture Tommy Lloyd has built at Arizona is remarkable. They play fast and have the right balance between structure and giving players freedom,” Aristode told ESPN’s Jonathan Givony on Sunday.

According to Adam Finkelstein’s scouting report for 247 Sports, Aristode has the pedigree of a strong and physical player.

“Aristode is a jumbo wing with a ton of physical tools that should ultimately translate into a versatile two-way game. He has terrific positional size at 6-foot-8 and an equally impressive frame. He’s not exceptionally long, with a 6-foot-10 wingspan, but is already strong and physical. He’s a high-level athlete who runs very well, is an explosive leaper and can play up above the rim with ease.”

Lloyd’s first commitment for the 2025 class, Aristode continues Arizona’s trend of attracting global talent.

This year’s roster features international players such as Anthony Dell’Orso from Australia, Henri Veesaar from Estonia, Mo Krivas from Lithuania, Jackson Cook from England, Emmanuel Stephen from Nigeria, Sven Djopmo from France, and Conrad Martinez from Spain.
