JUST IN: Cowboys and Other programs In Fear as Pittsburgh Steelers defense gets boost With Top Superstar

The Pittsburgh Steelers have activated outside linebacker Jeremiah Moon from injured reserve, the team announced on Saturday. Moon will take the 53rd and final roster spot for the Steelers in their upcoming game against the Dallas Cowboys.

His return adds a fourth outside linebacker to the rotation, particularly valuable while Alex Highsmith is sidelined with a groin injury; Highsmith is expected to be back in two weeks. Moon missed four weeks due to an ankle injury he sustained in mid-August, and his presence will bolster special teams.

Moon was picked up by the Steelers in January after being released by the Baltimore Ravens during the playoffs. Before his injury, he had been working with the second team.

Nick Herbig will start alongside T.J. Watt, with Moon and DeMarvin Leal providing additional depth. The 26-year-old, who hails from Florida, went undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft but earned a spot on the Ravens roster due to his athleticism and special teams skills. In his career, he has recorded 12 tackles and two forced fumbles.
