Four-star defensive lineman has committed to the USC Trojans after previously pledging to the Oklahoma Sooners. The 6-foot-3, 315-pound player has decided to switch his commitment to USC.
Born in Montreal, initially played hockey before moving to the United States to pursue football in his freshman year of high school. He quickly emerged as one of the most sought-after defensive tackles in the 2025 recruiting class.
Rated as the No. 17 defensive lineman by Rivals, he started his high school career at Mobile Christian High School in Mobile, Alabama. During his junior year, he had an impressive season, recording 85 tackles, including 27 for loss and 11 sacks, and also contributed on offense as a running back and tight end.
Ahead of his senior season, he transferred to Miami Central High School in Florida. USC defensive line coach Eric Henderson played a key role in recruiting Boucard.
According to 247Sports scouting director Andrew Ivins, Boucard is described as “a spry mover” for his size, known for his quick explosiveness off the line. Ivins considers him a “potential multi-year starter at the Power Five level.”
With Boucard’s commitment, USC’s 2025 recruiting class, which features five-star quarterback Julian “Ju Ju” Lewis, is now ranked No. 10 for the cycle.
