Latest: Steelers are set to sign former Eagles star to fill gap

It looks like the Steelers are making a proactive move by signing guard to fill the gap left by James Daniels. With his experience and ability to play guard, he should help provide some stability on the offensive line. Given his history as a second-round pick and his starting experience, he could be a valuable asset as the team navigates this challenging stretch. It’ll be interesting to see how quickly he can integrate into the offense and make an impact. What are your thoughts on how this might affect the Steelers’ offensive performance?

Max Scharping

Max Scharping played for the Texans from 2019 to 2021, but after a new coaching staff took over and he struggled to seize his chances, he was released following training camp in 2022. The Bengals picked him up off waivers, and he spent the next two years with them. However, Cincinnati chose not to extend his contract beyond 2023. Scharping then signed with the Eagles in June but didn’t make the final roster. After the Eagles opted not to place him on the practice squad, the Commanders signed him on August 28.
