A highly regarded five-star wide receiver recruit, has officially committed to Lincoln Riley and the USC Trojans. Ranked as the fifth-best wide receiver in the country by 247Sports, He chose USC over top programs such as Utah, Texas A&M, Ohio State, and Georgia. With nearly 30 offers, his final choices included several prestigious schools. Ultimately, it was Riley and the USC coaching staff that impressed him the most.
“Definitely the staff made it a pretty easy pick,” Myles told On3, regarding his commitment. “They all have experience with NFL players and know how to develop them. Also, the life outside of football is something different there. You can be successful in anything you choose.”
Myles stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 210 pounds, making him a strong candidate for a college receiver. During his junior season, he recorded 19 receptions for 586 yards and six touchdowns, averaging an impressive 25.6 yards per catch, highlighting his big-play potential. He has also demonstrated his ability to perform in crucial moments, as seen in the Utah 6A state championship game, where he caught five passes for 122 yards and two touchdowns in a victory.
With Myles on board, USC now has 20 commitments in its 2025 class, making him the highest-rated recruit among them.
“Jerome Myles is arguably the most physically gifted pass catcher in the 2025 cycle,” On3’s Director of Scouting Charles Power said.
With no doubt, this is a great recruiting win for Riley and USC.
