
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have added another talented player to their practice roster.
He appeared in four games this season, recording 24 tackles before his release last week. The Hayden, Ala. native went undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft due to an ACL injury suffered during training but later joined the New York Giants for the 2023 season, only to be released before training camp.
Standing six feet tall and weighing 194 pounds, He played 47 games as a cornerback at Duke University over five seasons, accumulating 165 tackles, 24 pass breakups, 10 tackles for loss, six interceptions, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and two sacks.

Additionally, the Ticats have added four more Americans to their practice squad: defensive back Jayden Price, receiver Reggie Brown, defensive lineman Mario Kendricks, and running back Lorenzo Lingard.
Price, who played in 71 games at North Dakota State University (2019-23), recorded 107 tackles, four tackles for loss, one sack, three interceptions, 17 pass breakups, one forced fumble, and three fumble recoveries. He also contributed to the return game with 63 punt returns for 910 yards and five touchdowns, earning third-team All-American honors in 2021. The six-foot, 185-pound corner most recently participated in training camp with the Atlanta Falcons.
Brown appeared in 45 games at James Madison University (2019-23), catching 93 passes for 1,686 yards and 16 touchdowns. The six-foot-one, 195-pound receiver was named a first-team All-Sun Belt selection and received honorable mention All-American honors last season before spending training camp with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Kendricks played in 56 games at Virginia Tech (2019-23), amassing 67 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, seven sacks, and three batted passes. The six-foot, 300-pound defensive tackle previously had brief stints with the Miami Dolphins and Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent.
Lingard concluded his collegiate career at the University of Akron, with 143 carries for 641 yards and four touchdowns in 12 games, plus 38 receptions for 368 yards and two touchdowns. The six-foot, 205-pound back also played at the University of Miami (2018-19) and the University of Florida (2020-22) and later had brief tenures with the New York Giants and Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent.
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats (3-9) will next face the Ottawa Redblacks (8-3-1) on Saturday, September 14.
