The Cleveland Cavaliers sign Australian wing to a two-way contract, according to sources reported by Hoops Wire and initially disclosed by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Travers, 22, is a 6-foot-7 guard/forward who has spent most of his career in Australia, with a few stints with the Cavaliers’ summer league team, including last month.
He was drafted 56th overall in the 2022 NBA Draft.
In three years of summer league play, Travers has averaged 7.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.1 steals, and 1.4 blocks per game. Last season, he averaged 12.4 points and 7.6 rebounds over 36 games with Melbourne.
