This marks the Wildcats’ sixth offer to a rising junior so far, joining Tay Kinney, Tyran Stokes, Caleb Holt, Brandon McCoy, and Miikka Muurinen. Jason Crowe Jr., a 6-2 point guard from Lynwood, California, is ranked as the No. 5 overall prospect and the No. 2 point guard in the 2026 class by 247 Sports’ Composite rankings. He has already garnered interest from major programs like UCLA, Washington, Florida State, Louisville, Arizona, and Alabama.

In a July interview with Rivals’ Rob Cassidy,Crowe noted that Arkansas and USC were pursuing him most aggressively. With Kentucky now in the mix, Crowe might start to consider the Wildcats more seriously under Coach Mark Pope and his staff. Crowe, who averaged 10 points and 4 assists per game for Team WhyNot in the Nike EYBL circuit, also has a personal connection to Kentucky through assistant coach Jason Hart, who has known Crowe’s father since the 1990s. With Kentucky now officially in pursuit, Crowe’s recruitment is expected to gain momentum.
