A senior guard at Greenfield-Central School in Indiana and a top prospect for UNC basketball, plans to announce his college decision between his final visit in late October and the end of November. The 6-foot-5, 180-pound athletic sharpshooter, ranked No. 23 overall in the 2025 class, has a busy fall ahead as he evaluates his options.
However, Mullins recently informed Kyle Neddenriep of the Indianapolis Star that he won’t be visiting all 10 of his finalists, which include UNC, UConn, Duke, Kentucky, Michigan, Tennessee, Indiana, Kansas, Purdue, and Alabama.
Mullins, who recently completed an official visit to UConn, has decided to cancel his trip to Alabama, which was scheduled for the last weekend of September. He will also not be visiting Purdue or Kansas this fall.
His official visits to Michigan (Sept. 7), UNC (Sept. 14), Indiana (Sept. 20), Duke (Oct. 5), Tennessee (Oct. 19), and Kentucky (Oct. 25) are still planned.
UNC basketball head coach Hubert Davis and his team began recruiting Mullins on May 20, around the same time Kansas made its offer and ahead of other major programs. The Tar Heels have yet to secure a commitment for the 2025 class.
