HUGE BLOW: Confirmed!! Atlanta Braves Fans Favorite Infielder Find a New Home…

Atlanta Braves All-Star and fan favorite has landed with a new MLB organization. With the calendar now flipped to the New Year and Spring Training just seven weeks away, unsigned players are beginning to settle with teams ahead of the upcoming season.

On Saturday, the deal was agreed to a minor league with infielder , according to Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com. Given Arcia’s nearly decade-long MLB career, the contract is widely expected to include an invitation to Spring Training.

Orlando Arcia

Arcia earned All-Star honors with the Braves in 2023, a season that marked one of the strongest performances of his career. However, his most recent campaign was a struggle. In 2025, he appeared in 76 games between the Braves and Colorado Rockies, batting .202 overall. Atlanta released him in May, after which Colorado picked him up. During his 62 games with the Rockies, Arcia hit three home runs and finished the year with a -1.2 bWAR.

Despite the down year, Arcia has shown power in the past. After beginning his career with the Milwaukee Brewers, he joined Atlanta and produced consecutive 17-home-run seasons in 2023 and 2024. Early in his career, Arcia carved out regular playing time thanks to his strong defense, though those metrics have declined as he has gotten older.

From Minnesota’s standpoint, it remains to be seen how much big-league opportunity Arcia will receive. If he earns a roster spot this spring, his growing ability to handle multiple infield positions could boost his chances. Still, the Twins have a promising young infielder in Brooks Lee, who is expected to receive consistent opportunities at the MLB level.

Now 31, Arcia has put together a respectable 10-year career in the majors. He debuted at a young age, won a World Series with the Braves in 2021 after being traded from Milwaukee, and later became an All-Star. Over his career, he owns a .239 batting average with 90 home runs and 137 doubles.
