HUGE BLOW: New York Giants confirm bad news involving’ key starting offensive lineman

New York Giants offensive tackle is dealing with a groin injury and may not play in Monday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is the other starting tackle for the Giants, who are already missing star tackle Andrew Thomas due to a season-ending foot injury.

Giants, Jermaine Eluemunor

As the starting right tackle, Eluemunor would be matched up against T.J. Watt if he plays. Giants head coach Brian Daboll mentioned that the team is assessing Eluemunor’s situation, but there’s significant uncertainty about his ability to participate.

If Eluemunor is unable to play, former first-round pick Evan Neal would take over at right tackle, though he has faced considerable challenges in his career. Eluemunor is not expected to practice on Friday as the team seeks to determine his status.

The Giants also have options in newly-signed veteran Chris Hubbard, a former Steelers tackle, and Josh Ezeudu, who primarily plays guard. Regardless, the Steelers’ defensive line is poised to capitalize on the struggling Giants offensive line.
