Doug Armstrong, President of Hockey Operations and General Manager for the St. Louis Blues, announced today that the team has signed forward to a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 in the NHL and $150,000 in the AHL.
The 24-year-old Alexandrov played in 23 regular-season games for the Blues last season, recording two assists. He also participated in seven regular-season games with the Springfield Thunderbirds, the Blues’ AHL affiliate, where he tallied seven points (three goals and four assists).
In total, the native of Burgwedel, Germany, has accumulated nine points (three goals and six assists) and 12 penalty minutes over 51 career regular-season games with the Blues. Alexandrov was originally drafted by the team in the second round, 62nd overall, in the 2019 NHL Draft.
