SAD NEWS: Another Heart Breaking News Hit New York Yankees

New York Yankees star Juan Soto is set to have X-rays on his left knee after colliding with a wall in foul territory during Thursday’s 3-2 loss to the Seattle Mariners. Soto crashed into the wall while making an impressive sliding catch and was left with a bruise on his knee, which required treatment after the game.

“I think his sliding helped him,” Yankees manager Aaron Boone said. “My main concern was that he twisted something. Sliding like that may have protected him somewhat, but he definitely banged his knee hard.”

The Yankees opted for precautionary X-rays, remaining optimistic about his availability for Friday’s game against the Oakland Athletics. Soto expressed worry after he got up and threw the ball to the infield, feeling discomfort in his left knee as he rolled on the ground.

“I was really worried,” Soto said. “I hit the concrete hard, and when I threw the ball, I felt a lot of pain in my kneecap. Thankfully, the pain subsided over time, but it was definitely a scary moment.”

In Thursday’s game, Soto went 0-for-3 with a walk. He is currently batting .286 with 40 home runs, 103 RBIs, and 120 runs scored in 149 games during his first season with the Yankees. At 25, he is expected to become a free agent after the season.
