In one of the more memorable moves in recent Toronto Blue Jays history, the club sent veteran reliever Jason Frasor and top pitching prospect Zach Stewart to the Chicago White Sox in exchange for veteran pitcher Edwin Jackson and infielder Mark Teahen, whose Canadian ties came through his father’s Ontario roots and his appearance with Team Canada in the 2009 World Baseball Classic.

While the trade itself produced mixed results, Jason Frasor’s enduring legacy in Toronto has cemented his place as one of the most dependable and beloved relievers in Blue Jays history.
