The Buffalo Bills are on the rise once more, thanks to outstanding performances from their star quarterback Josh Allen and the addition of top wide receiver Amari Cooper, who was acquired from the Cleveland Browns. With a 7-2 record so far this season, the Bills are gearing up for their game against the Indianapolis Colts this Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. On Thursday, Allen appeared on Pat McAfee’s show, where he chatted with the former Colts punter and sports talk host about a variety of topics.
Allen provided an update on his injury status ahead of the game, sharing that he is ready to power through defenders if necessary when the Bills face Coach Shane Steichen’s team at Lucas Oil Stadium.
“Depending on the week,” Allen said. “Body feels good enough to do it this week, if need be.”
McAfee, a long-time Colts fan from his playing days with the team, had a brief four-word message for the Bills’ superstar. Despite being listed on the injury report this week with a left hand issue, Allen fully participated in practice sessions.
“No, no. Take the week off from any physical stuff,” McAfee joked. “Take the week off.”
Standing 6-foot-5 and weighing 237 pounds, Josh Allen is one of the NFL’s most physically dominant quarterbacks, combining speed and power to run past, over, and around defenses. So far this season, he has rushed 47 times for 211 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing 17 touchdowns and just two interceptions. Last week, Allen surpassed 2,000 passing yards for the season in a game against Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins. He will aim to extend his impressive streak of four consecutive games with 200+ passing yards when the Bills face Anthony Richardson and the Colts in Indianapolis this weekend.
