The New York Giants are facing uncertainty regarding 25-year-old availability for Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers in Munich, Germany. The safety, was listed on Thursday’s injury report due to an abdominal issue. Head coach Brian Daboll mentioned that the team will assess his condition based on his participation in Friday’s practice.
If he is unable to play, Dane Belton is expected to step in as his replacement, with Anthony Johnson also a potential option for additional playing time.
In other injury news, left tackle Chris Hubbard, who missed Thursday’s practice due to illness, has traveled with the team to Munich and is expected to be ready to play. Additionally, there is optimism that both of the Giants’ regular kickers, placekicker Graham Gano and punter Jamie Gillan, will be available for the game. Gano, who has been on injured reserve since suffering a right hamstring injury in Week 2 against the Washington Commanders, would need to be activated through a roster move. Gillan, who has been sidelined with a left hamstring injury, is expected to return after missing the last four games.
Wide receiver Darius Slayton (concussion) has already been ruled out for the game.
