Official: Just In, Steelers Make Major Moves, Secures Two Promising Prospects to Enhance Team Dynamics

In an exciting development, the Pittsburgh Steelers have made significant roster changes by committing to two new prospects, enhancing their squad depth. It was a busy day for the Pittsburgh Steelers as they made several roster changes.

Cornerback C.J. Henderson has been signed to the active roster from the practice squad, while defensive tackle Montravius Adams Sr. has been placed on the Reserve/Injured List. Additionally, the team has signed defensive tackle Breiden Fehoko to the practice squad.

C.J. Henderson, drafted ninth overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, brings substantial experience to the Steelers. Over his career, he has played in 49 games, starting 32, and has recorded 172 tackles (139 solo), 16 passes defensed, three interceptions, and two forced fumbles, among other stats. He started all eight games for the Jaguars in 2020 before finishing the season on the Reserve/Injured List. Most recently, he played 12 games with the Carolina Panthers in 2023, starting seven and accumulating 39 tackles and three tackles for loss.

Henderson had a notable college career at the University of Florida, where he totaled 93 tackles, six interceptions, and four sacks over 33 games.

Breiden Fehoko, who originally joined the Steelers as an unrestricted free agent before the 2023 season, has spent the last three seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers. After starting the 2023 season on the practice squad, he was briefly promoted to the 53-man roster before being released and re-signed to the practice squad. Fehoko has appeared in 19 career games, starting four.
