The Los Angeles Rams have announced that star wide receiver is set to return from injured reserve and will start practicing with the team this week. He has the opportunity to be reinstated to the 53-man roster within the next 21 days.
Nacua has been sidelined since the team’s season opener against the Detroit Lions, where he suffered a PCL sprain in his knee. The 23-year-old’s absence has been felt in an offense that has struggled during a 2-4 start to the season.
Last year, Nacua made a significant impact for the Rams after being drafted in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft out of BYU. In his rookie season, he recorded 105 catches for 1,486 yards and six touchdowns.
The Rams will face the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday night, but it seems unlikely that Nacua will be back in time for that game. However, he could be ready for their upcoming division matchup against the Seattle Seahawks on November 3.
