The Tennessee Volunteers’ injury report offers some hope ahead of their matchup against the Florida Gators.
As the game at Neyland Stadium approaches, the SEC released the official injury report for both teams on Wednesday. Tennessee is facing several injuries, particularly on the offensive side, but the overall outlook appears optimistic.

Tennessee Volunteers Injury Report:
– Jourdan Thomas, DB: Out
– Edwin Spillman, LB: Out
– Ben Bolton, LB: Doubtful
– Dont’e Thornton Jr.: Questionable
– Squirrel White, WR: Probable
– Christian Harrison, DB: Probable
– Bru McCoy, WR: Probable
Most concerns have focused on the wide receiver group, with three key players nursing injuries. Fortunately, it looks promising for Bru McCoy, Squirrel White, and Dont’e Thornton to play on Saturday.
McCoy has been dealing with a hand injury but managed to play through it against Arkansas. White suffered an upper-body injury and was seen in a sling, while Thornton limped off during the third quarter of the last game.
With talented but inexperienced quarterback Nico Iamaleava leading the offense, losing any starters would be a significant setback. While the Volunteers are favored by multiple scores against the Gators, having their receiving corps healthy will be crucial as they enter the latter part of the season.
