
The Edmonton Oilers have invited forward Mike Hoffman to training camp on a professional tryout (PTO).
With 745 NHL regular season games and 33 playoff appearances under his belt, Hoffman will join the Oilers after playing the 2023-24 season with the San Jose Sharks, where he scored 10 goals and 13 assists in 66 games.
The 34-year-old from Kitchener, Ontario has a career total of 228 goals and 259 assists in the regular season, along with 11 goals and nine assists in playoff games.

Hoffman was drafted in the fifth round (130th overall) by the Ottawa Senators in 2009 and ranks 11th in career points among players from his draft class.
