BREAKING: 4-star super talent transfer to Penn State

Penn State extended its recruiting momentum by securing a commitment from a highly-regarded defensive end from Texas. Granville, a 4-star prospect and first-team all-state selection as a junior, has joined the Nittany Lions’ 2025 recruiting class. His commitment marks the fourth addition for Penn State  continuing a strong recruiting stretch that began in late June.

The top star, who will enter his senior year at Fort Bend Christian Academy, is rated as a 4-star linebacker by the 247Sports Composite. However, the 6-3, 220-pound athlete is expected to play defensive end for Penn State, where he was recruited by defensive line coach Deion Barnes. Granville decided on Penn State following an official visit to State College in early June. He also visited USC, Texas A&M, and Oklahoma that month and had an official visit to Baylor in April.

Granville, who boasts a prestigious offer list including Michigan, Ohio State, Georgia, Alabama, and Auburn among others, ranks 109th in the ESPN 300. His commitment to Penn State makes him the sixth player with an ESPN profile to join the Nittany Lions.
