“That Georgia offer means a lot to me, I’m 100% Ready For Commitment”: Top Talented Star assured

Georgia football consistently attracts top talent with each recruiting cycle, and the 2025 class is poised to be no different.

Jeramiah McCloud, Lee County, Defensive Line

This could become even more promising if the Bulldogs manage to sway three-star Florida Gators commit DL Jeremiah McCloud to switch his commitment to Georgia. Although McCloud committed to the Gators in May, he has since visited Florida State and most recently attended Georgia’s game against Tennessee Tech. According to McCloud, an offer from the Bulldogs would be highly significant for him, as he explained to Jeff Sentell of Dawg Nation.

“The Georgia offer is very meaningful to me,” McCloud stated. “I’m from Georgia and have always been a fan. Watching them with players like Todd Gurley was amazing. With coach Kirby Smart being from Bainbridge and now coaching Georgia, it’s special to me that the top team in the nation wants me and has offered me.”

McCloud also values his relationship with defensive line coach Tray Scott.

“That’s a major factor with Georgia,” McCloud noted. “I understand their development program. Coach Scott is very transparent. Freshmen might not play immediately, but you can see the difference in their development by their sophomore year. Players who get on the field at Georgia often end up being drafted.”

Currently, the Bulldogs are ranked No. 4 in the 2025 recruiting class by 247 Sports, having already secured three five-star recruits and 12 players from 247’s Top 200.
