NFL insider reveals Jordan Love’s injury recovery timeline and the QB Green Bay Packers are willing to trade for

The Green Bay Packers began the season aiming to build on their previous year’s performance, which featured a trip to the Divisional Round of the playoffs. However, their season took an unfortunate turn when Jordan Love sustained an MCL sprain during their 34-29 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Love avoided a serious injury as his ACL remains intact, but the Packers’ franchise quarterback is still expected to miss several games. We now have a clearer understanding of the duration of Love’s absence from the lineup.

Jordan Love expected to return to Green Bay Packers between Weeks 4-6

The Green Bay Packers got a positive update on Jordan Love’s injury. Despite concerns that his knee might be severely injured during their last-minute comeback attempt, Love was diagnosed with an MCL sprain.

According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, Jordan Love is expected to be sidelined for the next two weeks, with a potential return between Weeks 4 and 6. This means he will miss games against the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans.

If Love is able to return by Week 4, he could face the Minnesota Vikings. However, if his recovery doesn’t align with the NFC North matchup on September 29, he might come back against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 5 or the Arizona Cardinals in Week 6.

Overall, this timeline is preferable to a longer absence or a more severe injury scenario.

Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports that the Packers have not reached out to any outside quarterbacks. This leaves Malik Willis and Sean Clifford as the current options to lead the team in Jordan Love’s absence.
