Caleb Cunningham’s commitment to Alabama comes as no surprise given his enthusiastic remarks following his official visit to Tuscaloosa. In an interview with Andrew Bone of BamaOnline, Cunningham expressed high praise for the Crimson Tide, saying, “Oh man, Bama is No. 1. They’re No. 1, for sure. Why not Bama? They have the resources that I need. It’s a great place for me to be developed, to get to the next level for my position as a receiver. They’re going to develop.”
Alabama’s strong track record of developing wide receivers, with notable alumni like Julio Jones, Amari Cooper, DeVonta Smith, Jaylen Waddle, and Calvin Ridley, undoubtedly influenced Cunningham’s decision. This commitment is also a significant achievement for head coach Kalen DeBoer, who is working to establish his own legacy at Alabama after succeeding seven-time national champion Nick Saban.
