BREAKING: Just In, Oklahoma State Cowboys suffers the decommitment of another talented player

Former Midwest City basketball standout announced on Monday night that he is reopening his recruitment.

A three-star prospect according to the 247Sports composite rankings, had previously committed to Oklahoma State last October. The 6-foot-4, 180-pound guard recently transferred from Midwest City to PHHoenix Prep in Arizona to play for the Diamond Doves in the Overtime Elite League.

During his time at Midwest City, Young led the Bombers to their fifth state title and had an impressive junior season, averaging 18.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. His performance earned him a place on The Oklahoman’s Super 5 first team and Big All-City Player of the Year honors.

Young was the only 2025 commit for Oklahoma State.
