BREAKING: UCLA Land Commitment For top super talent

Pittsburg (Calif.) edge rusher committed to UCLA.

His decision brings the Bruins their second pledge from Pittsburg High School in this recruiting class, joining four-star safety Jadyn Hudson.

“The coaching staff at UCLA is incredible; their energy is truly unmatched. They recruited me intensely, and during my visit, I was introduced to family members right away. The vibe in Los Angeles is relaxed, and the family atmosphere is genuine.

“Coach Tony Washington is someone I trust to develop me and help me reach my goals. Additionally, Coach Scott White and Coach Ikaika Malloe are committed to ensuring I grow as both a player and a person. They are all genuinely kind-hearted.

“They’re recruiting for both edge rusher and linebacker positions. It’s still somewhat undecided, but I’m hopeful that I’ll get the chance to take reps at both spots. I’m ready to put in the work.

“It wasn’t just Coach Washington; the entire UCLA staff, including Coach DeShaun Foster, made a strong impression on me.”

WHO ELSE WAS IN THE MIX

Initially, Walls had a top three of Oregon, USC, and Washington, with Arizona later making it a top four. However, coaching changes at Washington and Arizona led to some shifts in his priorities. UCLA, which only extended an offer last month, made a significant push after securing a commitment from his teammate, Jadyn Hudson. Originally from Long Beach and with family still in Southern California, Walls had long desired an offer from UCLA. Once the Bruins intensified their recruitment, they successfully secured his commitment.
