The commitments keep rolling in!! Huge boost, Another highly rated star player transfer to Virginia Tech

For the second time in three days, the Virginia Tech Hokies have added another promising recruit to their 2025 class. On Friday, they secured a commitment from four-star wide receiver Snook Peterkin.

Then, now, they welcomed a familiar name to the Virginia Tech community. Three-star athlete Luke Stuewe, the son of former Hokie wide receiver Michael Stuewe, committed to Virginia Tech. Michael Stuewe played for the Hokies from 1994-97, starting in 32 games and accumulating 53 catches for 689 yards and five touchdowns.

Luke Stuewe, who currently plays at Avon Lake High School in Avon Lake, Ohio, stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 195 pounds. He has the versatility to play either wide receiver or safety at the collegiate level.

Stuewe got his offer from Virginia Tech last summer, and his speed and athleticism caught the attention of the Hokies’ coaches. This offer goes beyond legacy; although Stuewe was sidelined for a considerable part of his junior season due to an injury, which likely impacted his recruiting process, his abilities remained evident.

He is now the 17th commitment for Virginia Tech’s 2025 recruiting class.

Welcome home, Luke.
