Over the last few years, Birmingham Stallions wide receiver Deon Cain has emerged as one of the most dynamic players in spring football. Deon Cain joined the Birmingham Stallions for the USFL’s 2023 season and played a crucial role in their Championship run. Not only did he excel as a wide receiver, but he also made a significant impact as a specialist. Cain returned two kicks for touchdowns that year, demonstrating his incredible speed.

Additionally, Deon Cain had an outstanding performance in the Championship game against Pittsburgh, earning MVP honors by scoring three touchdowns.

This led to an NFL stint with the Philadelphia Eagles during the 2023 preseason, where he caught six passes for 62 yards. After his release, Deon Cain returned to Birmingham, becoming the top wide receiver in Skip Holtz’s offense for much of the UFL season. He recorded 33 catches for 436 yards and three touchdowns.

Deon’s speed makes him a deep threat, which was evident from the start of the UFL season. Birmingham’s first touchdown of the year came on a deep pass from Matt Corral to Cain. While Deon occasionally struggled to build chemistry with Adrian Martinez, he still had an impressive campaign overall.
