Corey Raymond, who has been back in Baton Rouge for about eight months, is already making a notable impact on recruiting.
Raymond has landed commitments from two top high school cornerbacks and recently added a third, Aidan Anding from Ruston, to LSU’s 2025 recruiting class.
While Anding is a high three-star recruit and not as highly touted as DJ Pickett or Kade Phillips, he only began playing football this past year.
In an interview with On3, Anding shared, “I wasn’t really into football growing up—I was more of a basketball player, though I didn’t follow basketball much. I didn’t think much about football, but after learning about LSU and seeing what the program is about, I realized it’s a great program with a lot of local support and enthusiasm.”
Anding shows significant untapped potential, evidenced by his offers from LSU, Texas, Arkansas, Ole Miss, USC, and Miami, among others. He is currently ranked as the No. 12 player in Louisiana.
With Anding’s commitment, LSU’s 2025 recruiting class now has 25 commitments and remains ranked third nationally.
