The UCLA men’s basketball program has announced the addition of guard  as a graduate transfer, according to Mick Cronin, The Michael Price Family UCLA Men’s Head Basketball Coach.  A 6-foot-3 guard from Murrieta, Calif., joins UCLA as a redshirt senior and has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Last season, Harris was the top scorer at Loyola Marymount University with an average of 14.3 points per game, after spending his initial three collegiate seasons at Gonzaga University (2020-21 to 2022-23).

UCLA Men's Basketball Adds Dominick Harris - UCLA

He is eligible for two more seasons of college play due to the extra year granted to athletes who competed in the 2020-21 season because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, Harris received a medical redshirt during his second season at Gonzaga in 2021-22.

“We’re excited to welcome Dominick Harris to our program,” Cronin stated. “He’s a skilled and seasoned player with roots in Southern California who is eager to join UCLA. Dominick had an impressive offensive season last year, especially as a three-point shooter. He brings a valuable dimension to our offense with his ability to hit threes consistently, having led the WCC in three-point shooting percentage. We also believe he can significantly impact our defense and contribute to our team in multiple ways.”
