A three-star tight end announced his commitment to LSU on social media.
Tyler, who ranks as the 31st tight end and 597th overall player nationally for the Class of 2025 according to the 247Sports composite, hails from Hammond High in Columbia, South Carolina, where he is ranked as the 12th-best player in the state.
He chose LSU over offers from Duke, West Virginia, NC State, and South Carolina.
Tyler is the second tight end to join LSU’s 2025 recruiting class, following four-star recruit John David LaFleur. He is also the 23rd player to commit to the Tigers and the fifth player in a receiving role.
This summer, LSU has secured 12 commitments for the Class of 2025, with four of those coming this month. Before Tyler’s commitment, three-star defensive lineman Dilan Battle was the most recent recruit to join the Tigers. Prior to Tyler’s announcement on Saturday, LSU held the No. 3 spot in the national recruiting rankings.
