The Las Vegas Raiders traded star wide receiver Davante Adams to the New York Jets, and his close friend Maxx Crosby discussed the move on his podcast.
“You know ‘Te is my twin, my brother,” Maxx Crosby said, on his podcast. “Regardless of how everything ended I still love him, that’s my guy. I always wish him the best regardless of where he’s at, we’re locked in for life. I was at his daughter’s birthday party a couple weeks ago. His family is like my family, and I know for him he wants to be the best at what he does, and he doesn’t have the most time. So he made that decision; he’s a grown man, and you’ve got to make decisions. So I wish him the best, I know he’s in New York, he’s back with Aaron, for me at the end of the day I want to see him succeed.”
Maxx Crosby has reiterated his loyalty to the Raiders, despite the team’s recent struggles. While Davante Adams is one of the top receivers in the league, his age raised questions about his fit in the franchise’s long-term plans. In contrast, the Jets are fully committed to winning now, making Adams a great fit as he reunites with Aaron Rodgers.
Even though Adams had a rocky departure from the Raiders, including issues with head coach Antonio Pierce, he and Crosby remain on good terms.
