BREAKING: Minnesota Vikings reportedly confirm the signing of another gifted player to bolster squad depth

The Vikings made two roster changes on Tuesday.

Minnesota announced the signing of outside linebacker  to the 53-man roster while releasing tight end Robert Tonyan.

Richter, 24, joined the Vikings as an undrafted free agent this spring after coming from Air Force. He has played in three games, primarily contributing on special teams, although he has participated in 13 defensive snaps.

Tonyan, 30, has played in four games for the Vikings this season, contributing 33 snaps on special teams and 13 on offense, but did not receive any targets. Since entering the league in 2018, he has recorded 148 receptions for 1,549 yards and 17 touchdowns.

Additionally, tight end T.J. Hockenson’s 21-day practice window is about to close, indicating he is likely to be added to the 53-man roster soon.
