BREAKING: unexpected news for Raiders fans, Raiders confirm the departure of another super talent

On Tuesday, the Jets reached an agreement to acquire the unhappy gifted player  from the Las Vegas Raiders, according to two sources familiar with the transaction who spoke to The Associated Press.

New York will send a conditional third-round draft pick next year, which could become a second-round pick, depending on Adams’ physical examination. The sources requested anonymity since the teams have not officially confirmed the deal.

The 31-year-old significantly strengthens a Jets offense that has struggled for consistency early in the season. As a three-time All-Pro, he joins Garrett Wilson, giving Rodgers two top-tier wide receivers to target, alongside Mike Williams, Allen Lazard, and Xavier Gipson, as well as tight end Tyler Conklin and running backs Breece Hall and Braelon Allen.

Adams, who missed the Raiders’ last three games due to a hamstring injury, had expressed a desire to leave Las Vegas, and the team agreed to his request.

Now, he reunites with Rodgers, with whom he enjoyed eight successful seasons in Green Bay.
