BREAKING: Virginia Tech fans confirm mind-blowing news as another super talent commit to program over Clemson, Washington, and Penn State

The Megan Duffy era in Blacksburg is beginning on a positive note. The new head women’s basketball coach at Virginia Tech faced the challenge of nearly overhauling the entire roster, losing key players like Elizabeth Kitley, Georgia Amoore, and Cayla King, along with younger talents and recruits such as Clara Strack, Lexi Blue, and Clara Silva.

Duffy quickly set to work on rebuilding the team, encouraging some current Hokies to remain while also recruiting skilled players like Lani White, Leila Wells, Ramiya White, and Kayl Peterson.

In addition, she focused on her first full recruiting class for 2025, successfully attracting two four-star recruits: guard Kate Sears from Boone, North Carolina, and forward Amani Jenkins from Johnson, Iowa. Recently, Duffy secured another significant addition, as four-star forward Aniya Trent from Springboro, Ohio, announced her commitment to Virginia Tech.
