JUST IN: What a sad one!! Baltimore Ravens Confirm Bad News

The Ravens will be missing two starters in the trenches for “Sunday Night Football” against the Buffalo Bills, as left guard Andrew Vorhees and defensive tackle Michael Pierce are inactive.

Both players were listed as doubtful. Vorhees did not practice all week due to an ankle injury, while Pierce was downgraded on Saturday after sustaining a shoulder injury.

With Vorhees sidelined, the Ravens may shift veteran Patrick Mekari to left guard and allow rookie second-round pick Roger Rosengarten to start at right tackle. Alternatively, they could bring in Ben Cleveland or Josh Jones at left guard. Additionally, guard Sala Aumavae-Laulu will be active for the first time this season.

Pro Bowl center Tyler Linderbaum, who was questionable due to a knee issue, will play, providing some stability to the interior line, although they will face a strong challenge from the Bills’ defensive line.

On the defensive side, the Ravens have activated Brent Urban, who was a healthy scratch last week. Broderick Washington, Pierce’s backup, along with Travis Jones and Nnamdi Madubuike, will have increased responsibilities.

The only other inactives are all rookies: safety Beau Brade, center Nick Samac, and wide receiver Devontez Walker. The Ravens reduced their inactive list by placing cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis on injured reserve on Saturday.

Rookie cornerback T.J. Tampa will make his NFL debut in place of Armour-Davis, along with rookie outside linebacker Adisa Isaac. The team signed veteran pass rusher Yannick Ngakoue to the practice squad last week but did not include him on the gameday roster.
